En este día de 1995, ABC debutó con la primera entrega de la serie documental en tres partes, The Beatles Anthology . El lanzamiento de la serie coincidió con el lanzamiento del álbum Anthology 1 , el primero de tres álbumes de doble CD, y el sencillo "Free as a Bird" (una grabación de John Lennon que se volvió a mezclar para incorporar instrumentación y voces adicionales mediante Paul McCartney, George Harrison y Ringo Starr, creando una nueva grabación de los Beatles 25 años después de la separación de la banda).
